Food for Thought: Module V - Of Monsters & Men

What:

Since humans huddled around the light of campfires, we’ve told tales of creatures lurking in the shadows just out of sight. Monsters of all shapes and sizes have been mainstays of culture from our oldest recorded stories to contemporary popular culture — from Sumerian clay tablets to the silver screen. How has our notion of monsters and the monstrous evolved? How has it stayed the same? Join us as we go beyond the light of the bonfire to explore the creatures waiting in the dark.

  • Wednesday, March 20 (Medieval and Renaissance monsters)
