Welcome to Harrison College House!
Our team is eager to welcome you to campus for what will hopefully be a year full of new opportunities. We have been busy planning for your arrival and hope that you will check our house calendar for all of our upcoming programs and events. The RAs, along with the Senior Staff, will continue to update the house calendar throughout the year so you can stay informed with the many opportunities you will have to be an active member in our house.
Harrison is excited to bring a new meaning to our house motto, non sibi sed toti, translated as "Not for the self, but for everyone." We are a big house with a big heart, and we hope you feel that throughout the year by fully engaging in our shared community.
In addition to our motto, we have four values in Harrison College House. We encourage all residents to live these values fully and authentically. Our values are:
Curiosity: Seeking to explore new knowledge, both in our academic and social lives.
Inclusion: We welcome and embrace different perspectives and identities to make our house a home.
Service: Living our house motto “not for the self, but for everyone,” we give back to our neighbors both within our house and the surrounding community.
Wellness: Taking care of our mind and body so that we can be a well-balanced community member.
You will see throughout the year that there are opportunities to engage in programming related to our house values! Check out the House Values tab of our website to learn more about the prizes you can win for attending a program for each of our house values.
