Join House Director Eric Cottrell, Faculty Fellow Nicola Gentili, and House Coordinator Valeria Moreira on a day trip to New York City! Residents who attend this trip will have the opportunity to explore New York. A detailed itinerary will be updated here soon.
If you are interested in attending, please complete the RSVP through the house calendar. Given the high demand for this trip, we will run a lottery to select the residents who are able to come. The RSVP will open on September 20th and will close on Monday, October 2nd at 12:00 pm. The lottery will occur on the afternoon of Monday, October 2nd and those selected via the lottery will be notified by 5:00pm.
Given the cost of this trip, a deposit to secure your spot is required. If you are notified and accept the offer to attend, you must officially reserve your spot by dropping off a twenty-dollar cash deposit to the house office by 5:00pm on Friday, October 6th. Failure to drop off your cash deposit by the deadline will forfeit your spot on the trip. All students will get their $20 cash deposit back upon boarding the bus to New York. If you fail to attend the trip, your $20 cash deposit will be forfeited.
Depart Harrison College House at 8:30pm and catch the 9:15am Megabus. We will arrive in NYC at 10:55am
We will depart NYC on a 6:15pm bus and return to Philadelphia at 8:25pm.
Cost to Residents
Your bus tickets, dinner, and access to excursion will be paid for by the house.
Residents will be responsible for breakfast prior to boarding the bus, lunch or snacks, and any personal purchases throughout the trip.
