ACTION is a student run organization that teaches Spanish Language and Culture to elementary school students in the West Philadelphia area. Every weekday after school they work with the kids in an interactive setting with games, arts and crafts, etc. integrated in the curriculum. Their mission is to promote and celebrate linguistic and cultural diversity by making foreign language and cultural education more accessible in their neighborhood. They also seek to empower students in chronically underfunded schools and respond to a lack of access to foreign language and culture education overall in their community.
