Sophomore Refresh: Center for Undergraduate Research & Fellowship

What:

Want to get involved in research on campus? It’s not too late!

Come to Seminar Room M20 to connect with a representative from Penn’s Center for Undergraduate Research and Fellowships and learn more about the opportunities available—and how to get involved.

Learn about undergraduate research and fellowships—we’ll talk about everything from how to get started, identifying potential mentors, what research “looks like” in different fields, ways to fund your work, and much more!  We will also talk about how research and fellowships fit together, which fellowships might be good for you, and what you can do to make yourself a strong fellowships candidate.  Joseph Squillaro, one of CURF’s Research Peer Advisors (and Harrison resident) will be on hand to talk about his personal experiences.  Bring your questions and we'll answer them!

Please send the house an email letting us know you are attending by Friday at 3 PM.
