David is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Sociology (School of Arts and Sciences). He also has a B.A. in Political Science from UC Berkeley, an M.S. in Education from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master's in Statistics from Wharton. His research focuses on the causes and consequences of racial/ethnic and socioeconomic inequality in American higher education. Originally from Los Angeles, David moved to Philadelphia after college to do Teach For America and hasn’t left since. When he is not reading, writing, or otherwise working, David enjoys biking, traveling, and binge-watching his favorite shows.
