Join us in welcoming Dr. David Barnes, professor of medicine and public health at Penn, for this Dinner and Conversation.

Dr. Barnes will discuss the unexpected twists and turns in his career path, as a result of following his curiosity. How he chose a major, how he chose to go to graduate school, and how his academic interests have changed over the years. He will also share one of the most unusual stories of his career: how he got to be an answer on “Jeopardy!” He will discuss his current book-in-progress and related historic preservation project.

If time permits, he also has an anecdote to share about how Harrison M20 changed his outlook on life. (Seriously.)
