Dinner & Conversation: Professor Krut-Landau

What:

Raffi Krut-Landau's spirit animal is Ratatosk, the squirrel of Norse mythology that carries messages between worlds. In college he couldn't decide whether to study Arts or Sciences and so asked himself, "Why not both?" After graduating he had the opportunity to co-found a nonprofit that helps people make open-source software. Since grad school he has been teaching philosophy and interdisciplinary studies at Penn. His next project is a web app that helps people make beautiful pictures of ideas. He is fascinated about whether web apps can be philosophical. You can find him online at ex.plicat.io or email him (for a reason, or for no reason) at raphael.kl@gmail.com.
